Summer Work, Autumn Opportunities

While many slowed down during the summer heat, I spent most of the season working and using the quieter months to think, plan, and execute new ideas with a clear mind.

Public appearances are part of the job.

This period provided me with the opportunity to test my creativity, share insights on LinkedIn, and lay the groundwork for the months ahead.
Building the Empowera Consulting

If you missed my updates over the summer, here is a brief overview of what I have been working on:
  • Launched the LinkedIn page of Empowera Consulting
  • Shared video tips on the creative process of building a communication strategy from scratch.
  • Attended networking events with business women where we exchanged experiences, thoughts, and challenges of entrepreneurship.
Building my business and planning required a focused approach, which meant I shared less through this newsletter. I hope you still found value in my updates. If you would like to learn more about my work, please feel free to contact me directly.

Caring for Someone Rare

This autumn brings a dynamic schedule of conferences and seminars in the field of rare diseases:

I recently returned from the “Caring for Rare” Conference, organized by NORBS, which focused on the rights of patients with rare diseases in the labor market and the role of genetics in diagnostics and therapy. (See my latest post for more details.)

Conference "Caring for Rare," Belgrade, September 2025

Later this month, I will travel to Madrid for the final seminar of the EUPATI Patient Expert Training Program (Cohort 8).
On November 26th, Novi Sad will host the Sixth Conference on Rare Diseases, with this year’s focus on patient registries. Registration is now open.
In December, I will attend the International Neurotransmitter Disorders Conference in London: “Bridging Scientific Innovation and Clinical Advances for Patients.” The organizing committee has recognized the importance of patient participation and offered us to collaborate on Family Sponsorships, making it possible for families worldwide to join. Join us in London this November. Help shape the future of care and be part of an empowering international gathering dedicated to families living with neurotransmitter disorders.

What’s Next?

I look forward to sharing insights from Madrid and London in the upcoming editions. Would you be interested in a more detailed account of the London Conference in November’s newsletter?
