Šta sam dobila odlukom da ove godine sebe stavim na prvo mesto?

Ovu godinu sam posvetila sebi.
Dala sam sebi prostor da unapredim znanja i veštine, da proverim ono što sam mislila da znam i umem, i da vidim kako te veštine mogu da postanu održiv posao.

Mentorski program "Jedinstvena i važna", decembar 2025. godine

Kako je to izgledalo u praksi:

Mart - Dala sam otkaz na poziciji Business Development Managera u oblasti specifičnih genetskih testova.
Jun - Otvorila sam svoju preduzetničku radnju sa ciljem pružanja konsultantskih usluga u oblasti poslovanja, sa jasnom nišom:
medicinski marketing, odnosno izrada komunikacionih strategija za pravna lica u oblasti retkih bolesti.
Decembar - Privodim kraju mentorske procese i planiram ciljeve za 2026. godinu.

Šta mi je doneo program „Jedinstvena i važna“?

U trenutku kada sam ozbiljno razmišljala o prelasku u preduzetništvo, prijavila sam se na mentorski program kompanije Hemofarm – „Jedinstvena i važna“.
Program je namenjen ženama koje se nalaze na profesionalnoj prekretnici, menjaju način razmišljanja ili započinju novu fazu karijere.
Za mene je taj trenutak bio idealan. Još nisam imala PIB, ideja mi je bila jasna, ali mi je bio potreban spoljašnji, objektivan pogled.
Dobila sam mentorku sa kojom delim isto formalno obrazovanje, ali koja je izabrala potpuno drugačiji profesionalni put.
Dok sam ja bila „one woman show“, ona je radila u velikoj korporaciji, imala distancu i jasnu perspektivu, što je njen feedback činilo posebno vrednim.
Ipak, imale smo i zajedničku tačku – obe smo majke deteta školskog uzrasta. To je značilo razumevanje dilema oko balansa privatnog i profesionalnog života, bez dodatnog objašnjavanja.

Follow-up aktivnosti: septembar

Tokom šest meseci programa imale smo redovne online sastanke jednom mesečno, ali i zajedničke susrete koje je organizovala kompanija.

Naši mentorsko-mentee sastanci nisu bili spontani.
Svaki susret je bio unapred pripremljen, sa jasno definisanim temama i konkretnim „domaćim zadacima“ koje smo zadavale jedna drugoj, ili same sebi, nakon svakog razgovora.

Kraj mentorskog procesa – i šta dalje?

Program „Jedinstvena i važna“ mi je dao novi ugao gledanja na teme koje su mi lično i profesionalno važne.
Pored rada jedan-na-jedan sa mentorkom, izuzetno mi je značio i grupni feedback.

To su žene koje verovatno nikada ne bih upoznala u drugim okolnostima, ali su svojim iskustvom i pogledima obogatile moj način razmišljanja o poslu i ciljevima.
Snaga te podrške bila je dodatna vrednost programa.
Dobila sam potvrdu koliko je važno prvo raditi na sebi, pre nego što svoje znanje i usluge ponudite drugima.

What did I gain by putting myself first this year?

This year, I chose to focus on myself.
I gave myself space to improve my skills, test what I believed I knew, and explore how those skills could turn into sustainable work.

This is how the year unfolded:
March - I resigned from my role as a Business Development Manager in the field of specialized genetic testing.

June - I launched my own entrepreneurial business with the intention of providing business consulting services, with a clear niche: medical marketing, specifically communication strategy development for companies working in the rare disease space.

What did the “Unique and Important” program bring me?

At the exact moment when I was considering a move into entrepreneurship, I applied for Hemofarm’s mentoring program “Unique and Important.”
The program is designed for women who are at a professional crossroads, changing their mindset, or entering a new phase of their careers.
For me, the timing was perfect. I did not yet have a registered business ID. My idea felt strong, but I needed an objective, external perspective.
I was matched with a mentor with an exact formal education, but a very different career path.
While I was running everything on my own, she worked within a large corporation. That distance allowed her to stay objective and offer clear, grounded advice.

We were not so different, though. She is also a mother of a school-aged child, which means she fully understands the real-life decisions and doubts that come with balancing personal and professional life.

Follow-up activities: September

Over six months, we had regular monthly online meetings, as well as in-person sessions organized and coordinated by the company.
Our mentor-mentee meetings were always structured.
Each one was prepared in advance, with defined topics and practical “homework” we assigned to each other or to ourselves after every session.

The end of the mentoring process – and what comes next?

The “Unique and Important” program helped me see important topics from a new angle.
Beyond the one-on-one mentoring, the group feedback was incredibly valuable. These were women I would likely never have met otherwise, yet their perspectives enriched the way I think about business and long-term goals.

The strength of that support was an added benefit.
The program reinforced something essential for me: before offering your services to others, you must first invest in yourself!
